PROJECT MANAGEMENT FOR MEDICAL IMAGING SUITES
Medical Imaging technologies continue to advance and play a key role in the future of diagnostics and therapeutics.
However budgetary constraints mean that the cost of new Imaging suites is a significant factor in the decision process. Equipment price and functionality are to always to be considered but other elements such as environment, energy-savings and room ergonomics will influence the effectiveness and quality of medical equipment once in use. It is therefore vital that any new installation or refurbishment is proficiently managed to ensure a robust, fully operational suite which meets the client’s needs and expectations.
Rhywood Radiology Projects understands these requirements and has been set up to provide experienced Project Management for new build, refurbished or replacement rooms and equipment within Radiology suites in Hospitals, clinics and dental surgeries across the UK.
By using the skills acquired in working with Trusts, Equipment Suppliers, Building Works providers and Private Institutions we are able to support and facilitate the development, delivery and handover of X-Ray, CT, MRI and Fluoroscopy rooms by:
- Keeping focus on the progress of works
- Using our in-the-field experience and network of specialist sub-contractors to streamline the preparation process
- Monitoring and reporting on costs and any budgetary changes
- Co-ordinating with specialist delivery and installation teams
- Working to minimise the suite's ongoing energy cost
- Taking special care to ensure the ergonomics, user-friendliness and patient experience of the suite
- Assessing the environmental impact of the project and working to reduce it
